Marathon is an upcoming team-based extraction shooter currently in development by Bungie. It will be the first new game in the Marathon franchise since the original Marathon Trilogy was released in the 1990s. An alternate reality game began in 2023 to coincide with the reveal announcement as well as the ViDoc, and continued later in 2025 to coincide with the gameplay reveal stream.

Originally slated to release on September 23rd, 2025, Marathon was delayed indefinitely on June 17th, 2025.
