Doctor Yoki Samura was Sekiguchi Genetics' former lead shell Science Director. In the present day she is best known as the facial model and voice pattern for the life-like Icon personality series of Thief biomata shells.[1]

Her shell construction tended to aim for elegance and a higher class of appreciation than shells equipped specifically for combat and survival.[1]

Thieves inspired by Samura's work claimed that she was fashion-forward and not above grandstanding.[1]
