Rook is one of many frames available to Runners. Rook frames specialize in scavenging and are best suited for loss-prevention on solo runs and ARS infiltration.

Rook is not a conventional biomata shell, but rather a hijacked robotic frame typically utilized by the UESC and various corporations for manual labor. Runners have installed these frames with limited-use neural sync adapters, allowing them to be occupied for a short duration before experiencing mental degradation.[1]
