Subject01 was a S'pht Compiler encountered aboard the UESC Marathon in Cryo Archive in 2893.

Subject01 was first encountered by UESC designation PRI: 0109 during Operation: Winter Walk in 2893. PRI: 0109's biomat was compromised and they experienced critical systems failure and neural eject.[1] After recovery, 0109 was recalled from service until approved for continued field deployment.[2]
The UESC established defensive position in Cryo Archive during Operation: Igloo, making efforts to identify and track Subject01, with the objective of ultimately capturing or containing it.[2]
The UESC made further efforts to breach Vault 7 to capture or contain Subject01 during Operation: Primetime, but the outcome was a full operational loss. Two ARS squads pushed Subject01 ahead of UESC biomat team, but it focused all of its attention on the operatives, forcing them to eject. At the last minute, PRI: 0121 flooded Vault 7 with bots to secure their escape.[3]
