The Hauler is a Region in Perimeter centered around an All-Terrain Expansion Unit. It is a mobile command center for the Data Wall. The Hauler was placed into the Zone by VTOL,[1] as the surrounding area is too rocky to permit standard traversal.[2]

The Hauler was originally tasked with both deploying and supporting the Data Wall as the colony on Tau Ceti IV expanded. It would typically work in tandem with a central command facility, such as Station. When fully operational, it was capable of analyzing geological data as well as various figures from the Data Wall itself.[2]
It was eventually transitioned away from colony expansion, instead assisting in analysis of the Anomaly.[1]
