AI Uplink is a Region in Dire Marsh. It was one of many communication facilities designed to connect a Zone's AI to the UESC Marathon and the rest of the colony.

Topography

AI Uplink features two distinct areas: an elevated catwalk and a main building. The catwalk is located on the eastern end of the POI, with an open design that leaves players on the catwalk vulnerable to enemy squads and UESC. The western end contains one primary building with a small outer building in close proximity. AI Uplink's basement includes a central area with branching hallways and connects both halves of the location. The basement has one access point on the eastern end of the POI, located centrally within the catwalk, and two on the western end, one within the main building and the other inside the outer building.

The POI and the area surrounding it are prone to environmental hazards, such as ticks and toxic plants.

Function

AI Uplink was originally used for communication with the rest of New Cascadia and the UESC Marathon.
