The Nomad Landing Unit was an Anvil Class self propelled autonomous landing platform used for atmospheric reentry and troop deployment.
Overview[edit]
The Nomad was composed of a vulcanized Anvil Class compound. Its surface was designated as a Class 7 rigid flex deck. Its surface retained heat at greater than 1200° C for up to 4 hours after atmospheric descent. It required full panel replacement after each reentry.
