Orientation functioned as a historic education center, a place for acclimation, and a museum for the colonists on early Tau Ceti IV. The use of this was to educate the new colonists on basic planet geological features, hazards, and expectations. After being shown everything and going through basic medical procedures, the colonists would be dispersed into there assigned roles and areas. Though later Orientation will have been left and abandoned due too the disappearance of the UESC Marathon crew and the Anomaly event.
